Football Game Preview: Vincentian Academy vs. Philipsburg-Osceola

After two weeks on the road, Philipsburg-Osceola is heading back home. On Friday they take on Vincentian Academy at 7:00 PM. Philipsburg-Osceola are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak.

The match between Philipsburg-Osceola and Central last Friday was not a total blowout, but with Philipsburg-Osceola falling 21-41, it was darn close. Philipsburg-Osceola got a solid performance out of senior Daniel Slogosky, who passed for 214 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.

Two weeks ago, Vincentian Academy came up short against Iroquois, falling 8-16. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Vincentian Academy.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
