Baseball Recap: Rutland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rutland can now relate to. They came up short against the Redan Raiders on Friday, falling 18-3. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rutland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Howard, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Rutland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15-1. As for Redan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-9.

As of now, neither Rutland nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
