With a playoff win on the line, First Presbyterian Day rose to the challenge on Thursday. They never let the Loganville Christian Academy Lions get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Not much got past Gracyn Fuller, who gave up just four hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Loganville Christian Academy off the board.

At the plate, First Presbyterian Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claudia Green, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

First Presbyterian Day's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, First Presbyterian Day will take on Strong Rock Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they will challenge George Walton Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
