Football Recap: Legacy Academy Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Legacy Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Loving Falcons 49-18 on Saturday. The Silverbacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Legacy Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Jay Watts was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. He has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last four times he's played.

Although Loving took the loss, they still got scores from Rider Gonzalez and Brodie Allen.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Legacy Academy, bringing their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Loving, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Legacy Academy has already played their next matchup, a 62-18 defeat against Eunice on the 22nd. Loving does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
