Softball Recap: Banks County Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Banks County was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Rabun County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leopards fell 4-1 to the Hart County Bulldogs on Monday. The game marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Banks County's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3. As for Hart County, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Banks County will take on Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Leopards surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hart County, they will welcome Prince Avenue Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
