Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Streetsboro). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-14 win over the Woodridge Bulldogs. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 372nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Streetsboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Council led the charge by rushing for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Streetsboro will face off against Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodridge, they will take on Norton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
