Softball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-5 to the Clayton Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 on September 4th.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Clayton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normandy will welcome Riverview Gardens at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clayton, they will square off against University City at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
