Colfax had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 78-8 win over the Mira Loma Matadors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 79-6 back in January.

Colfax got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Belle Chu out in front who went 7 for 9 on her way to 15 points and four steals. Those 15 points gave Chu a new career-high. Laurlyn Massick was another key player, going 5 of 7 en route to 15 points and four steals.

Colfax smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Colfax has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Mira Loma, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Colfax wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-12 win against Wheatland on the 31st. As for Mira Loma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-2 defeat against Lincoln on the 31st.
