Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastlake). Everything went their way against the Chula Vista Spartans on Wednesday as the Eastlake Titans made off with a 60-34 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

Eastlake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amelia Greer, who went 8 for 19 to rack up 17 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Greer a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ava Ellorin, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 17 points.

Eastlake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. They are 5-13 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Despite the defeat, Chula Vista had strong showings from Tracy Echoku, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards, and Nancy Chavez, who posted eight points and 16 rebounds. Chavez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games she's played.

Eastlake's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Chula Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
