Las Plumas waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Oroville Tigers with a sharp 57-31 victory. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Las Plumas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liliana Carrillo, who went 7 of 13 en route to 19 points and four steals. Those 19 points gave Carrillo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Hepworth, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards.

Las Plumas pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Oroville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.
