Softball Recap: Velma-Alma Comes Up Short

Velma-Alma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-7 to the Okarche Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-7 on Thursday.

Velma-Alma's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Okarche, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Velma-Alma has already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Pauls Valley on the 28th. As for Okarche, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Sayre on the 21st.
