Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest Georgia Academy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Westwood Wildcats a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.

Southwest Georgia Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Westwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
