Baseball Recap: North Posey Gets the Win

While North Posey's win against Mt. Vernon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

The team relied heavily on Zeke Roosevelt, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for North Posey: the team is undefeated when he posts at least one home run, but 10-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Davin Sullivan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

North Posey now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Mt. Vernon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
