Cherokee Bluff has gone 9-1 against East Hall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cherokee Bluff Bears will head out to challenge the East Hall Vikings at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cherokee Bluff has three straight victories, East Hall has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Cherokee Bluff was able to grind out a solid win over Monroe Area, taking the game 5-2.

Tucker Holton looked comfortable as he struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bubba Coleman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Owen Redwine also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for East Hall's offense. They came up short against Oconee County on Friday, falling 9-0.

Cherokee Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for East Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Cherokee Bluff's way against East Hall in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Cherokee Bluff made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cherokee Bluff since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
