Softball Game Preview: Washington Bluejays vs. Warrenton Warriors

The Washington Bluejays will take on the Warrenton Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Warrenton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Washington, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Washington made easy work of Fort Zumwalt South and carried off a 16-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Warrenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Union, falling 18-2.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Warrenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Washington took their victory against Warrenton in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Do the Bluejays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
