It was a good run, but Morrow unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Northgate Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Morrow of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2016.

Their goal came courtesy of Alexander Garcia, who's now up to nine this season.

Morrow suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 9-2. As for Northgate, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrow will face off against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morrow's defense better be ready for this one: Mt. Zion has averaged an impressive 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Northgate, they will challenge Newnan at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
