Softball Game Preview: Griffin Bears vs. Central Lions

Griffin is 0-3 against Central since September of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Griffin played against Jonesboro on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Harris County, who was ranked second at the time (Central was ranked 24th). The Lions lost 9-2 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Griffin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
