Meanwhile, Clovis East hasn't lost a match since January 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Central as Clovis East made off with a 3-0 victory. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 510th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clovis East hit Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Haley Moua, Roslyn Yeagar, and Mckarah Lopez.

Buchanan pushed their record up to 11-4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for Clovis East, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-5.
