Villa Park entered their tilt with La Habra on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They really took it to the La Habra Highlanders for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-21 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Villa Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Sturdivant led the charge by going 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points and six steals. That's the most steals Sturdivant has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sabina Patel, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 11 points and four steals.

Villa Park smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Villa Park pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.8 points over those games. As for La Habra, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Villa Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-39 win against Cypress on the 4th. As for La Habra, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-58 defeat against Huntington Beach on the 3rd.
