Norwin is 4-0 against Connellsville since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Norwin Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Connellsville Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Norwin is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Perkiomen Valley just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 56-34. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Connellsville might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Greensburg Salem an easy 53-33 victory. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Golden Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Connellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Norwin, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Norwin against Connellsville when the teams last played back in January of 2016, as the team secured a 52-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norwin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
