Softball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pataula Charter Academy took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Pelham, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Hornets 13-12. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Pataula Charter Academy got a massive performance out of Gracen Hunnicutt, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those five hits gave Hunnicutt a new career-high. Zyion Clark was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Pataula Charter Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Pelham, they moved to 11-4 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
