Soccer Recap: Orthopaedic Takes a Loss

If Orthopaedic was riding high fresh off their 5-2 takedown of USC-MAE back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Orthopaedic Vipers lost 3-0 to the Animo Bunche Stallions on Wednesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Vipers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Orthopaedic's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-1. As for Animo Bunche, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1.

Orthopaedic has already played their next game (against USC-MAE), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Animo Bunche will take on Downtown Magnets at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Animo Bunche is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
