Football Recap: B O L D Comes Up Short

B O L D was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 28-8 to the Murray County Central Rebels. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Rebels are ranked 87th).

Edgar Kopel threw for 61 yards and one TD. Owen Baumgartner was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Maxim Mabee rushed for 65 yards.

B O L D's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Murray County Central, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. B O L D will welcome Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Murray County Central, they will face off against Canby at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
