Trion has gone 8-2 against Christian Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Lions at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Trion didn't have quite enough to beat Dade County and fell 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Christian Heritage unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeast Whitfield County on Monday.

Trion now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Christian Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Trion took their victory against Christian Heritage when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
