Foothill is 8-2 against Red Bluff since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Foothill Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Red Bluff Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Foothill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Foothill is headed into the matchup without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and Shasta finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Foothill's goal came courtesy of Sarah Mcdougall, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 5-0 to Chico. The shutout was out of character for the Spartans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Red Bluff's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4-1. Foothill's draw makes their record 11-0-2 this season.

Foothill took their win against Red Bluff in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foothill since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
