Basketball Recap: Perkiomen School Panthers vs. Hun Raiders
Perkiomen School had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it seven. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Hun Raiders an easy 76-51 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Raiders since January 31, 2019.
As for Hun, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Leading Hun to victory were Meso Nwobu and Jayla Williams. Nwobu shot 6-for-10 from deep and dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten assists, while Williams dropped a double-double with 23 points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Breezy McAlister, who posted nine points and five boards.
