Soccer Recap: Birmingham Takes a Loss

Birmingham lost against Cleveland last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Birmingham Patriots came up short against the Cleveland Cavaliers, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Patriots were already down 3-0.

Birmingham's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-2. As for Cleveland, they pushed their record up to 14-2-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Birmingham will take on Granada Hills Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Birmingham's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Cleveland, they will head out to face off against El Camino Real at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
