Softball Recap: North Cobb Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Cobb Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the King's Ridge Christian Tigers on Monday, sneaking past 6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

The team relied heavily on Faith Sonnenberg, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Molly Edwards was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

North Cobb Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cobb Christian will take on Paulding County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Ridge Christian, they will head out to take on Forsyth Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
