Volleyball Recap: Mt. Diablo Red Devils vs. Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles
Mt. Diablo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-16, 25-11.
Mt. Diablo's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Clayton Valley Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Diablo will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will challenge Ygnacio Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
