Baseball Recap: Dutchtown Comes Up Short

Dutchtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the McIntosh Chiefs, falling 13-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 19, 2016, but that streak is no more.

Dutchtown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Leonard, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Dutchtown's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for McIntosh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dutchtown is set to take on their familiar foe Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, McIntosh will challenge rival Banneker at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
