Football Recap: Northeast Piles Up the Points Against Crest

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Paul, Northeast was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Crest Lancers to the tune of 42-14. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 46-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Although Crest took the loss, they still got scores from Koiy Miller and Kole Walter.

The win got Northeast back to even at 1-1. As for Crest, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northeast will square off against rival Marmaton Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crest is set to challenge their familiar foe Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
