            Stockton Christian waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured  a  27-22 W over the Vanguard College Prep Lions. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Stockton Christian's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.7 points per game. As for Vanguard College Prep,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Stockton Christian has already played their next game,  a  41-33  win against Turlock Christian on the 10th. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will venture away from home to  square off against Delta Charter  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Vanguard College Prep is facing Delta Charter at the right time seeing as Delta Charter is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
