Football Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

Calhoun lost against Garden City back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colts were dealt a 51-7 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Trojans are ranked 14th).

Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Garden City, their record is now 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calhoun is set to face off against their familiar foe Baldwin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Garden City will challenge rival New Hyde Park Memorial on Saturday.
