Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maxwell). They blew past the Williams Yellowjackets 49-14 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 13, 2023.

Maxwell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joceline Montero out in front who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Bethany Wilson, who had eight points.

Despite the loss, Williams had strong showings from Lupita Zuniga, who scored eight points, and Giselle Torres Salazar, who put up five points.

Maxwell moved to 3-17 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Williams, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maxwell will square off against Quincy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams has already played their next matchup (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
