West Greene won the last time they faced Carmichaels and things went their way on Tuesday too. The West Greene Pioneers blew past the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes 56-16. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 31 points or more this season.

West Greene's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madelyn Roberts led the charge by putting up 12 points and seven steals. Roberts is becoming a predictor of West Greene's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 5-7 when she doesn't). Marissa Tharp was another key player, scoring ten points and seven steals.

The victory made it two in a row for West Greene and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Carmichaels, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Greene wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-41 win against Bishop Canevin on the 5th.
