Soccer Recap: Elbert County Comes Up Short

Elbert County lost against Franklin County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Elbert County Blue Devils came up short against the Franklin County Lions, falling 6-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Daniel Ezqueda, who's now up to seven this season.

Elbert County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Elbert County has already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Washington-Wilkes on the 25th. As for Franklin County, they will face off against Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
