Soccer Recap: Mt. Diablo Takes a Loss

If Mt. Diablo was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Valley Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mt. Diablo Red Devils fell 3-1 to the Arroyo Dons on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Devils couldn't quite close it out.

Mt. Diablo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Arroyo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Diablo will take on Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arroyo, they will square off against Mt. Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
