            Softball Recap: Aspen Skiers vs. Gunnison Cowboys        
        
		
        
        
            Tuesday just wasn't the day for Aspen's offense. They came up short against  the Gunnison Cowboys on Tuesday, falling  15-0. The Skiers' defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it six in a row.
Aspen's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Gunnison, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aspen will take on Battle Mountain at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Huskies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.18  runs per game on average), something the Skiers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Gunnison, they will face off against Basalt at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Cowboys' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 8.3  runs per game this season.
