Basketball Recap: Conestoga Christian Comes Up Short

Conestoga Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Octorara Area Braves. The Cougars lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-24 score last time.

Despite the loss, Conestoga Christian still got an impressive performance from Reagan Hails, who went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Those 17 points gave Hails a new career-high.

Conestoga Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Octorara Area, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-8 record.

Conestoga Christian has already played their next contest (against Harrisburg Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Octorara Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
