The Samueli Academy Firewolves will head out on the road to face off against The Webb Schools Gauls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Samueli Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while The Webb Schools will come in with four straight wins.

On Tuesday, Samueli Academy came up short against Capistrano Valley Christian and fell 36-25.

Samueli Academy better focus on containing Sochika Ndibe and Pristine Thomas as the pair were huge in The Webb Schools' win. Ndibe dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Thomas dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Thomas is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. Chijioke Mgbeke was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

The Webb Schools smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 50 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The Webb Schools has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points per game. As for Samueli Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Samueli Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against The Webb Schools when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 26-23.
