Soccer Recap: Lambert Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lambert gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out the North Forsyth Raiders 2-1. Given Lambert's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while North Forsyth are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Lambert's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for North Forsyth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lambert will head out to square off against Apalachee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Forsyth, they will venture away from home to take on Alpharetta at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
