Softball Game Preview: Greene County Rams vs. Northwest Webster Cougars

Greene County is a perfect 3-0 against Northwest Webster since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will host the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Greene County will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Greene County came out on top against Roland-Story on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Rams walked away with an 8-3 win over the Norsemen.

Meanwhile, Northwest Webster was able to grind out a solid victory over Alta-Aurelia on Friday, taking the game 10-5.

Northwest Webster's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Greene County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Everything went Greene County's way against Northwest Webster in their previous meeting back in June of 2023, as Greene County made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
