Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian entered their match against Whitewater on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions fell 6-3 to the Wildcats. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Trinity Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Moss, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Whitewater, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Trinity Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Whitewater will take on rival Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
