Softball Game Preview: Trion Bulldogs vs. Dade County Wolverines

The Trion Bulldogs will challenge the Dade County Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Trion came up short against Gilmer and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Dade County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Catamounts get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Dade County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Trion, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Trion couldn't quite get it done against Dade County when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
