Recap: Colton Yellowjackets vs. Canyon Springs Cougars
On Monday, Colton came up short against Canyon Springs and fell 53-40. Colton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Canyon Springs to victory were shyanne morton and Izabella Tejada. morton dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Tejada dropped a double-double on 17 points and 24 rebounds. The contest was morton's third in a row with at least ten points.
Colton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Canyon Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Colton will head out on the road to face off against Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday. As for Canyon Springs, they will face off against Rancho Cucamonga at 3:00 p.m. on November 29th.
