Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Allatoona). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dalton Catamounts a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Catamounts: they've now won seven in a row.

Allatoona's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Dalton, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Allatoona is set to take on their familiar foe Cedartown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buccaneers 3, the Bulldogs 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dalton will square off against rival Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
