The Manchester Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Creekside Seminoles at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Manchester has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with eight straight losses, while Creekside will come in with five straight victories.

Manchester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Armonie Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Creekside got themselves on the board against M.L. King on Tuesday, but M.L. King never followed suit. They blew past the Lions 15-0. The Seminoles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Rhianna Weaver was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Dazire Randle was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Deja Wesley was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Creekside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .583 or higher in three consecutive games.
Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Creekside, their record is now 10-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Manchester has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Creekside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 15.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
