The losing side was boosted by Nate Tidwell, who picked up 119 receiving yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards.

Meanwhile, St. Pius X waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past KIPP Sunnyside 47-6. The matchup marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

St. Pius X found their leader in sophomore Trey Finney, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground.

St. Pius X's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Thomas Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
