Softball Recap: Enid's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Enid had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Putnam City North Panthers with a sharp 14-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 27-0 on Thursday.

Enid's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Putnam City North, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Enid has already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Blackwell on the 22nd. As for Putnam City North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Shawnee on the 22nd.
