Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Penn). They claimed a resounding 60-25 victory over the Abington Galloping Ghosts. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted since December 12, 2023.

The victory (which was North Penn's third in a row) raised their record to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Abington, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

North Penn and Abington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. North Penn (ranked 193rd) will meet Gwynedd Mercy Academy (ranked 45th) at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, Abington will take on Lansdale Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday down 179 places (187 vs. 8).
